CANCELLATION & RETURN POLICY
Terms of cancellation.
Cancellation before dispatch
A User is permitted to fully or partially cancel orders prior to its dispatch from deeKart. Upon successfully placing an order on the Platforms and after deeKart has successfully handed over the Product(s) to its Logistic Partner, the User will receive a unique tracking identity number, which will enable the User in tracking the status of delivery of the purchased Products.
Cancellation of an order can be either by deeKart or by You.
deeKart has the discretion to cancel an order. Some of the reasons for cancellation are as under (not being exhaustive list of reasons):
i Failure to comply with any of these Terms.
ii Product is unavailable with the seller.
iii Technical errors or issues.
iv Problems identified by deeKart’s credit and fraud avoidance department.
v Invalid address is given in order details.
vi Malpractice is used to place the order.
vii Bulk order is placed for commercial resale.
viii Multiple orders are placed for same product at the same address.
ix Order is undelivered after several attempts.
xi Failure to collect the order from partner store within stipulated time.
In a rare case if a cancelled order is still delivered, please refuse to accept it and if it is still delivered please raise a return request within 24 hours at “firstname.lastname@example.org”. Return will be taken only if product is not activated and not used with the Brand Seal and package seal intact otherwise deeKart will initiate legal action against the user.
deeKart reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason whatsoever. On such cancellation You will be sent a notification. You can cancel an order, or part of an order where multiple products have been ordered. If a User has purchased Products which form a part of a package of other Products, or if the Product forms a part of a promotional package (collectively, the “Bundled Package”), the User shall be required to cancel all the Products that form a part of the Bundled Package for deeKart to process refunds. For illustrative purposes, if the User has purchased a “3 in 1 Combo” Product in a promotional package, the User will be required to cancel the combo products and will not be permitted to cancel either only one or two products from the Bundled Package.
deeKart reserves the right to accept or reject requests for order cancellations for any reason whatsoever. You agree not to hold deeKart liable for any rejection of order cancellations.
Refund. In all events of cancellation prior to the dispatch of the purchased Products, deeKart shall initiate refunds within 7 (seven) business days from the date on which it received the request from the User.You will receive a refund for Your cancelled orders that have been accepted in accordance with the Refund Policy.
In case of payment made through prepaid mode through any channel, the refund will be made to the original mode of payment. All refunds shall be subject to applicable charges as may be deducted by the User’s bank.
Cancellation after dispatch: - We do not accept post-dispatch cancellation of orders.
Terms of Return and Refund
deeKart's returns policy gives you an option to return items purchased on deeKart within 2(two) days of delivery. We only ask that you don't use the product and preserve its original condition, tags, and packaging. You are welcome to try on a product but please take adequate measure to preserve its condition.
During Pick Up, our delivery agent may do a quality check on the return. Refund will be initiated after the product has been received at our warehouse and has passed a quality check. If the picked-up product does not pass the quality check, we shall ship it back to you. If you choose to return the item for reason of mismatch or receipt of a defective item, you will get refund.
Returns are not possible in cases where the brand/seller has mandated a no return policy, or for hygiene reasons. Also, we cannot accept returns after return timeline has lapsed. If you’ve shopped on deeKart, here are some products we can’t take back at all:
• Innerwear, lingerie, socks, clothing freebies and swimsuits, for hygiene reasons
• Perfumes, personal and beauty care products, as mandated by the seller
• Products that have already been used or installed, as mandated by the seller
• Products that have been tampered with or are missing serial numbers, as mandated by the seller
• Personalized /engraved items, as mandated by the seller.
• Product sold in sets or combination cannot be returned individually.
• Any other product depending upon the Return Policy in force
In the event deeKart is unable to arrange pick-up, deeKart will notify You regarding the same and You will be required to send the product to the seller at the provided address using a reputed courier service in Your area.
You expressly acknowledge that the seller is solely responsible for the damaged or defective product or a product that does not meet the specifications of Your original order or delayed delivery of the order or delivery of the package with one or more products or accessories missing and for any claims that You may have in relation to such products and deeKart shall not in any manner be held liable for the same. In the event of dispute, deeKart will coordinate with You and the seller to reach an amicable solution.
deeKart reserves the right to refuse or cancel any return request. If the request for returns is not allowed by the Returns Policy, you will not be refunded the payment made or any costs, and will not be able to raise a second request for return for the same product. You agree not to dispute the decision made by deeKart and accept deeKart’s decision regarding the refusal or cancellation and further agree not hold deeKart liable for any refusal or cancellation.
In the event of frivolous or baseless complaints or requests regarding the quality or content of the products, deeKart reserves the right to take necessary legal actions against You and You will be solely liable for all costs incurred by deeKart in this regard.
In the event where a product not belonging to the seller selling on deeKart is returned by mistake, deeKart is not accountable for such misplacement and is not responsible for its delivery back to You or any costs incurred by You or any refund.
In case where a seller or designated return location claims that the product received from You is different or the return of the product is not in compliance with the Returns Policy, the product will be dispatched back to Your shipping address and You are required to receive and accept the package. In the event of dispute, deeKart will coordinate with You and the seller to reach an amicable solution. deeKart is only a facilitating link between You and the seller and will not be liable in any manner.
In case of damage claims, deeKart may ask for pictures of the damaged product before it is approved or allowed for return.
For return shipping managed by deeKart, you will need to hand over the product to the assigned logistics service provider at the time of pick-up. In the event the logistics service provider makes attempt to pick-up the product and You are unavailable or not ready to handover the product, deeKart or logistics service provider will not be held responsible for the delay in pick-up or processing of the quality check by the seller and hence the refund.
During pick-up, your product will be checked for the following conditions:
|Correct Product||IMEI/ name/ image/ brand/ serial number/ article number/ bar code should match and MRP tag should be undetached and clearly visible.|
|Complete Product||All in-the-box accessories (like remote control, starter kits, instruction manuals, chargers, headphones, etc.), freebies and combos (if any) should be present.|
|Unused Product||The product should be unused, unwashed, unsoiled, without any stains and with non-tampered quality check seals/return tags/warranty seals (wherever applicable). Before returning a Mobile/ Laptop/ Tablet, the device should be formatted and Screen Lock (Pin, Pattern or Fingerprint) must be disabled. iCloud lock must be disabled for Apple devices.|
|Undamaged Product||The product (including SIM trays/ charging port/ headphone port, back-panel etc.) should be undamaged and without any scratches, dents, tears or holes|
|Undamaged Packaging||Product's original packaging/ box should be undamaged.|
Return will be processed only if:
• it is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession;
• the product is not different from what was shipped to you;
• the product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer's box, MRP tag intact, user manual, warranty card and all the accessories therein).
If you wish to return an electronic device that stores any personal information, please ensure that you have removed all such personal information from the device prior to returning. deeKart shall not be liable in any manner for any misuse or usage of such information.
Products may not be eligible for return in some cases, including cases of buyer's remorse such as incorrect model or colour of product ordered or incorrect product ordered.
Products marked as "non-returnable" on the product detail page cannot be returned.
If a User has purchased Products which form a part of a package of other Products, or if the Product forms a part of a promotional package (collectively, the “Bundled Package”), the User shall be required to return all the Products that form a part of the Bundled Package for deeKart to process refunds. For illustrative purposes, if the User has purchased a “3 in 1 Combo” Product in a CANCELLATION & RETURN POLICY 5 promotional package, the User will be required to return all the three products and will not be permitted to return either only one or two product from the Bundled Package. Return of or refund for purchased Products shall not be entertained by deeKart if:
• the Product has been used for reasons apart from checking reserve the right to reject the return of the Product;
• the price tags, brand tags, box, original packaging material, and accompanying accessories have been damaged or discarded by the User;
• the serial number/IMEI number/bar code of the Product, as applicable, does not match deeKart’s records;
• in the case of electronics, if the Products sought to be returned are not sealed in the poly jiffy bag provided by deeKart;
• deeKart is satisfied that the Product has been rendered defective or unusable; or if the User in any way breaches the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy
In the event a User returns a Product that is not accompanied by the accessories, gifts or other items originally bundled with such Product, deeKart shall have the right, exercisable at its sole discretion, to (i) (a) refuse to accept the return of such Product, or (b) process any refund thereof, or (ii) deduct the amount payable in respect of such items from the amount of refund such User is entitled to.
deeKart shall initiate a process of refund of the monies paid by the User towards return of a Product, if upon conducting quality checks, it is satisfied that the Product being returned entitles the User to a refund. deeKart shall initiate refunds within 7 (seven) business days. It is further clarified that deeKart shall not be required to make any refund or return the Product that it deems ineligible for a refund or return based on such quality checks.
It is expressly clarified that the refund entitled to by a User shall not include monies paid towards shipping charges or any other such charges applicable from time to time, except in case of a Product having a defect at the time of delivery (for reasons attributable to, and accepted by deeKart after due verification at its sole discretion). deeKart shall make all reasonable attempts to keep the User apprised of the status of refund.deeKart disclaims all liabilities that may arise on account of its failure to keep the User apprised of the status of the refund.
Refunds are provided for cancellation/return of products, subject to the eligible cancellation/ return as per Return Policy or these terms and conditions, initiated in accordance with the Return or Cancellation Policy.
Refund is made for the full amount of the order or part order successfully cancelled that was paid by You for the delivery of the order.
If any refund is received by You pending the quality checks, you will hold such amounts in trust on behalf of deeKart until conclusion of such quality checks unless claimed by deeKart any time before that. If any amounts are wrongly paid or refunded to You, you will transfer such amounts back to deeKart within 3 days of Your receipt.
deeKart is not responsible for any errors or delays in refund due to banks or third-party service provider errors or delays.
